Meet Our Principal

Mrs. M. Fischer holds a BA degree in education from Eastern Washington University, and a Master’s Degree in Education Administration from California State University at Chico. She has completed the colloquy program through Concordia University at Portland. Michelle’s strong belief in the Lutheran School system began when she taught in a Lutheran School in Anchorage, Alaska while her husband was stationed there with the Air Force.   Her husband's 20 years of active duty service have allowed her to serve in many schools private and public throughout the United States.

Mrs. Fischer sees the 21st century’s use of technology as a great learning tool. The school must be focused on student learning and emphasize the areas of curriculum and instruction. As a new administrator, Michelle will bring fresh, exciting ideas that will be necessary to keep Lutheran schools competitive. She believes in collaboration and compromise as she works toward change and feels it is important to remain current on research and educational trends to establish the best program. Michelle will be joining the Bethlehem staff and faith community on June 30, along with her husband, Paul, and two sons, Johnathon (7) and Nathaniel (9). Please give them a warm Bethlehem welcome!
